Where are you based?

The Candid Creative Co. is based in Kingston, Ontario, and is available for select travel-based projects.

Do you work with individuals, brands, or organizations?

Yes. I work with individuals, creatives, small businesses, arts organizations, and community-based initiatives.

Do you offer guidance during sessions?

Absolutely. Creating a calm, supportive, and judgment-free environment is a core part of my practice. Sessions are guided at a pace that feels comfortable, with gentle direction and space to be yourself. You’ll receive gentle posing direction, movement prompts, and encouragement throughout the session to help you feel grounded and confident. My approach is candid, collaborative, and care-centered. I focus on presence, connection, and storytelling rather than stiff posing or perfection.

What types of sessions do you offer?

I offer portrait sessions, branding and lifestyle photography, event documentation, and select creative collaborations. Availability may vary seasonally and more information about sessions and rates can be found on Our Services page.

How do I book a session?

Sessions can be booked through the inquiry form on the website. Once your request is submitted, you’ll receive a response within 2–3 business days.

Do you offer consultations?

Yes. Complimentary consultations are available to ensure alignment, answer questions, and discuss your vision before booking.

Are you expanding beyond photography?

Yes. The Candid Creative Co. is evolving into a broader creative and wellness-adjacent platform, including prints, events, workshops, and lifestyle offerings.

What's it like to work with you?

Collaborative, honest, and straightforward. We're here to guide the process, bring ideas to the table, and keep things moving.

DELIVERABLES & EDITING

  • Image counts vary depending on the session type and will be outlined in your booking details.

  • My editing style is natural and timeless, focusing on skin tone accuracy, warmth, and subtle enhancement while preserving authenticity.

  • Your photos will be delivered through an online downloadable gallery. Typical turnaround is 2–4 weeks unless otherwise specified.

    For weddings, turnaround is 6–8 weeks unless otherwise specified. All services are eligible for “sneak peek” photos on request; these will be delivered within 1–2 weeks.

  • Cancellation and rescheduling policies will be shared at the time of booking and outlined in your service agreement.

  • Due to the nature of creative work, refunds are not typically offered. Please review your agreement or reach out with any questions.

  • This is part of the long-term vision. Updates will be shared through the website and social media as offerings develop.

    Studio based services are available. However, certain services will have a studio fee built into the price.

PREPARATION & CARE

What should I wear to my session?

After booking, you’ll receive a preparation guide with styling tips. I encourage clients to wear clothing that feels comfortable, authentic, and supportive of how they want to feel. Not just how they want to look.

Do you offer hair or makeup services?

While I do not offer in-house services at this time, my background in hairstyling and esthetics informs my guidance. I’m happy to recommend trusted local artists.

Can I bring music, props, or personal items?

Yes. Personal items, music, and small rituals are welcome. They often help clients feel more present and grounded.
