Hello, my name is Shanique Peart!

For as long as I can remember I have always been drawn to expressing myself through different artistic mediums. Whether through music, art, theatre or dance. I feel the most myself when creating or performing.

My love of photography started when I was in middle school - when I got my first cell phone. I was so fascinated by capturing the unique and beautiful moments we tend to skip over in our day to day. However, I didn’t formally pick up my first DSLR camera until high school. I chose to formally pursue a career in photography during my first year of dance school when I realized I could combine my two loves. Since then my lens and I have been inseparable and have been a huge part of journey as an Interdisciplinary and now Multidisciplinary Artsit.

Since picking up my first camera over a decade ago, I can confidently say. I deeply value creating a genuine and safe space in front of my camera. One to help you look and feel like your best self. Whether it be through portraiture, a formal event or a family portrait, I am here to cheer you on and have fun doing it!
