What Pop Ups do we offer?

KINNECT

KIN-NECT dance workshops blend movement, music, and community to help dancers of all levels deepen technique, build confidence, and spark creative connection. Guided by experienced instructors in a supportive, playful environment, each session focuses on accessible tools for expression and collaboration.

Create and Connect

A space to make something with your hands and your people. Guided creative sessions designed to help you connect with others, and with yourself.

KINNECT Workshops

A snippet from this past March (2026), when we launched our first round of dance workshops! Since then, there has been a demand and need for more street and diasporic dance styles in Kingston, ON. We continually seek to expand our range of instructors and dance styles, and hope to sustain monthly programming in the future.

Create and Connect Workshops

Create and Connect Workshops were born from a desire to spark creative curiosity in a safe, supportive, and accessible environment. Designed for everyday people, these sessions help participants reconnect with themselves through art while meeting new people.

Offerings include game nights, art exhibitions, collage workshops, paint‑your‑own‑pottery classes and more to come!

Workshops also serve as opportunities for The Candid Creative Co to collaborate with local small businesses, enriching both community and spirit through shared artistic experiences.

Our Photography Pop‑Ups bring people together to create, learn, and belong. Designed for curious beginners and returning makers alike, these events spark creative confidence in a welcoming, low‑pressure setting. Expect hands‑on mini‑workshops, guided photo walks, themed portrait booths, and showcase moments where everyone’s work is celebrated. Perfect for meeting neighbors, trying something new, and seeing your life through a fresh lens.
